We are entering into an amazing season at FT Shreveport ...There's an awesome manifest presence of the Lord in our corporate gatherings right now and we are truly convinced that God is bringing an Awakening  to our region. I am preparing a series for the next couple of weeks to help prepare our hearts for the Lord to do a new thing in our Church , community and City...Other ministries and Churches are feeling this same stirring and we are believing in the power of covenant agreement as we join in prayer, fasting and corporate repentance!

Our soaking prayer service on Monday nights are intensifying in fervency and it seems as if a hunger for the Holiness of God has begun to grip our entire congregational family.I believe we are entering a season of growth and harvest that must be preceded by prayer, fasting, repentance and waiting on His presence! The day of Pentecost came after a long season of tarrying and preparing for the  promise of His Presence...We are also preparing and believing for an outpouring of Holy Ghost rain! 

Dear FT Community,

I was just visiting with Bro.Odie this afternoon about the amazing move of the Holy Spirit yesterday in our Sunday service. I have been basking in the presence of the Lord all day and believe the Lord is up to a new wave of His Glory about to sweep over us in a fresh powerful way.

Can you feel it? There's a Love Revolution taking place and we are actively beginning to share the love of Jesus throughout our local community and around the world...As of our offering yesterday we are sending the funds to furnish an entire school in Dominican republic as well as 100 backpacks loaded with school supplies...We have already given away fans, water, fed the hungry, visited the lonely and forgotten and many of you have been experiencing the joy of your very own I-58 Fast. I am so thrilled to begin to hear the testimonies of what the Lord has been doing on a one on one basis throughout our FT Community...I believe we can actually see the affects with so many new people as well as the miracles of healing and experience we have been seeing practically every week!

I am rejoicing over our youth and young adult ministry beginning to flourish again as well as the great things happening in our Children's Ministries...It was amazing to see how much new talent the Lord has been sending us yesterday with most of our regular musicians and platform team gone, yet we had an amazing time of worship and music ministry. God is so Faithful!( but for all of you on vacation...we missed you and please don't leave again) lol

 

I am asking for your prayers and patience with me this week while I am in a time of prayer and consecration...I am desperately seeking direction and the Will of the Lord for the future progress of our FT Community and ministry. I have been so burdened and maybe you could feel that in the message yesterday. We need the leading of the Holy Spirit more than ever before ...

What an exciting time of the year...Spring is in the air and the cool brisk breeze is beginning to push away the remnants of a long cold winter! It's a perfect time to celebrate and remember the most wonderful moment in history...When Jesus conquered death and  came forth victorious from the cross and the grave over 2000 years ago.The  amazing part of the story is that He is still alive and doing miracles, signs and wonders all across the world in every tongue, tribe, nation and kindred!

We will be examining  the claims and facts of the resurrection these next couple of weeks as well as celebrating Resurrection Sunday Y2K10 with the question is Jesus alive in YOU?

 

Our celebration will be the entire Easter week! We kick off the week with our Monday evening prophetic/soaking service where we will have a special repentance service focusing on the scourging and death of our wonderful savior.Then Wednesday night will be entirely focused on families and children as we celebrate  as an entire Church family in the main Sanctuary with our Childrens' Ministry. This would be a great time to invite your neighbors or family members with younger children to come experience our Childrens' Ministries.

Then Saturday March 3rd  is SPRING-FLING Y2K10! This event will begin at 2pm till 5pm and will be one of the most exciting days we have on the FT grounds during the year...there will be food, fun, fellowship for all ages, as well as jumping booths,Volley-ball, horseshoes, mud-football, live music, face painting, and a huge Easter Egg hunt for the entire family! Did I mention food and fun?

Wow! How time flies when you're having fun...We have just returned from 2 weeks in Africa and it already seems as if it was only a dream. I have my time all mixed up and couldn't sleep and began to think about all the amazing things the Lord is doing at FT Shreveport and literally around the world.

 

Last night I heard an awesome report of victory from one of our ministries to the homeless/hungry here locally while accumulating reports of the crusade in Ethiopia last week. I have been so blessed to hear of all the ministries and departments that have gone full speed ahead to spread the Gospel at home while we were away these last couple of weeks.

The FT African Expedition Team included Minister Lavonte'Price, Evangelist Clyde Jones and myself as we connected with 4 other brethren from Michigan ,Indiana and Texas to travel to a Pastors/Ministers seminar in Pretoria,South Africa as well as the Warra Crusade in Ethiopia with Bishop Tecklamerien and his wonderful wife Sis.Mary.We left Thursday March 4th and returned late Wednesday evening the 17th after traveling through Amsterdam ,South Africa ,Ethiopia and Frankfurt,Germany.

 

The South African experience was awesome and we were able to meet a great group of leaders/pastors that are uniting across racial/tribal/religious barriers for a harvest in South Africa. Lavonte' and I both ministered at the Leadership Summit there and Clyde and Lavonte' both enjoyed preaching among the Zulu in Sowetho that Sunday morning.I don't believe either one wanted to leave!!!

The Church we discovered on Sunday night was so much like FT it could be one of our sister works...The move of the Lord was so precious as families/homes and lives were put back together. It was an amazing move of God!

On Monday we roughed it and went on safari...lol. We were able to film rhino,elephants , hippo, giraffe, zebra,, pumba and all other sorts of creatures, but Clyde never got his lion. maybe next time!

 

 

We are awaiting the official reports of the Crusade in Ethiopia from the local pastors and leaders there, but it is safe to say that hundreds were baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time! The crusade crowd was extimated at over 500,000 and I can honestly say it was the largest crowd I have ever experienced in my life....Cripples walked, the deaf heard, cancers disappeared , the blind received sight, demoniacs were delivered, and the gospel was preached to the poor. Actually it is hard to explain what we experienced , but we will be posting a video in the next few days to give you a taste of what we will never forget. It was truly the trip of a lifetime!

This is the season for dreams to come true! Are you dreaming yet? We have been praying for resurrected dreams that life, health,finances, family crisis and even church hurt have stolen from our hearts!  Dreams do come true if you don't over sleep!

We believe that Y2K10 will be a year of the Miraculous @ FT Shreveport and we are asking you to believe again for Divine Provision and Miracles in your life! The Spirit of fear has ravaged the American Dream as a terrorist from Hell to delay and deny the past promises of  God in our lives! As in the days of old we must ask ourselves..."who's report will we believe?" I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE THE REPORT OF THE LORD!!!

We have been receiving prophetic Words that Y2k10 would be a year of FAVOR IN THE MIDST OF FAMINE! As the God of Israel provided a brook and ravens for His prophet, He will Supernaturally provide for His New Covenant People!

Dear FT Community,

What an amazing service today as we celebrated the goodness of the Lord! It was such a celebration of Praise and Thanksgiving as we enjoyed the wonderful musical talent of NameSake...Wow...they were awesome!

There was an explosion of praise and worship today that was absolutely liberating...Where the Spirit of the Lord is,there is liberty! Don't forget P.R.A.I.S.E.!!!

We are entering into December full steam ahead and there are so many exciting events ahead for the FT community...Our F.T. Christmas Fellowship will be on the 12th in the Family Center and our Songs of the Season musical will be on December 20th during the Contemporary service @ 11:00...This will be an awesome time to invite our family and friends as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas together.

 

The Christmas season is one of my favorite times of the year to reflect on the wonder of the incarnation and that God would love humanity so much He would come near humanity in the  form of a man! I'm looking forward to teaching several series in the next couple of weeks that will celebrate the Virgin Birth and the Divinity of Jesus Christ as well as discovering the true Purposes of Christmas...You don't want to miss it!

What a beautiful time of the year! This is a unique time in our American culture as we celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday with family and friends and open our hearts to an attitude of gratitude...

I have personally been impacted this season by all the blessings God has placed in my life as a husband, father, son, brother, friend, and last but not least as Pastor of the Faith Tabernacle Koinonia! 

What an amazing 2 years we have shared thus far as we have tripled in membership, remodeled offices,classes, foyers and the Kids Zone building...Can you believe we have given over $80,000 to our FT Missions partners in only 2 years? What about our Dominican Youth Trip and  Servolution events? We have Ordained 4 new ministers of the Gospel and our first FT Foreign Missionary. The vision of Bishop Young is being fullfilled and we are supporting missionaries and ministries around the world!

Stephanie and I are honored to lead the Faith Tabernacle family as we travel together into our prophetic destiny of becoming a true Sprit-Filled,Spirit-Led,Christ-Like Community! The best is yet to come!
